Broken hearts

A toy snatched from hand

While playing with sand

A little scold from dad

Moms love make you mad…

Securing the second position

Why not the first is the notion

Parents teachers praising a lot

But still heart is at a knot…

Preparing for entrance at speed

All help comes whenever in need

By one rank misses a college

And destination is different for baggage….

First crush at college makes you feel happy

Absence of her, lecture makes you nappy

Your friend proposing your crush

Heartbroken, and your friend on blush...

Jolly mood, birthday time, lot of calls

Waiting for that single call, which would turn the ball

Full attention to that friend

Day passes, but she did not follow the trend…

Now time for all to go apart

New job , new life, but it hurts

All with mixed feelings

Hoping it will be easy process of healing…

Now settlement of a new family life

New people and add-ons’ lot to give

Little bitterness, not fulfillment

Makes you sad, and life bends….

Long time and all hard work

Internally happy with your own work

Boss coming and staring at you

No appraisal, says work is due….

Never expect, you will be happy

But these things, comes without expectation

It’s the heart that hurts

And brain that works…
